Job Description:

AnChain.AI is seeking a skilled Smart Contract Engineer to join our mission-driven team in San Jose, CA. This role is ideal for a developer with a deep interest in blockchain technologies and smart contracts, who is motivated to grow into a smart contract investigator. As a Smart Contract Engineer at AnChain.AI, you will develop, deploy, and maintain smart contracts while also learning to identify vulnerabilities and potential faults that could impact functionality and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy robust, secure smart contracts on Ethereum and other blockchain platforms.
  • Analyze and determine the functionality of smart contracts to ensure they perform as intended.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and potential security faults within smart contracts before they are deployed.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enhance existing smart contract analysis tools and methods.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in blockchain technology and smart contract security.
  • Train and transition into a smart contract investigator role, developing skills to conduct thorough investigations into smart contract vulnerabilities and security breaches.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Smart Contract Engineer with a robust portfolio of smart contract-related projects
  • Excellent understanding of blockchain technology, Ethereum, and other related platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically about smart contract functionality and security.
  • Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities and security practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other programming languages used in blockchain development, such as Vyper.
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity or as a smart contract auditor.
  • Interest in transitioning to a smart contract investigator role.
