Job Description:

AnChain.AI is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with prior or current US Government security clearance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems for our clients in the government sector. This role requires expertise in AWS GovCloud, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and big data technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure and scalable data architectures in AWS GovCloud environment.
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load large volumes of data from various sources.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with government security regulations and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen with previous or current US Government security clearance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in AWS GovCloud services and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • DBA (DBA responsibilities and experience with various database systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, OpenSearch)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Certification in AWS or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
